HR+ views companies as hubs of social innovation, with the following specific objectives:

Needs Analysis – Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment within partner countries (Italy, Spain, Hungary, Portugal) to understand HR’s current classification within regional, national, and EU frameworks. This analysis explores the effects of workforce changes, including the twin transition and skills shortages, to identify the new competencies required for HR roles.

Profile Development and Testing – Develop and trial a new HR Profile (EQF6/ECVET) through three pilot programes (IT, ES, HU). The profile will be pre-validated and promoted for recognition in relevant regional and national frameworks.

Communication and Awareness – Establish a robust communication strategy to disseminate project outcomes, engaging stakeholders on the value of employment as a means of social inclusion and emphasising the strategic role of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in linking workforce needs and policy-making.

In line with HR+’s mission to support the adaptability of KI organisations, the following will be delivered:

  • A transnational report analysing the current and emerging skills required for HR roles across partner regions.
  • An HR+ Training Programme, with tailored adaptations for Italy, Spain, and Hungary, addressing identified skill gaps within HR functions in KI organisations.
  • Three pilot initiatives (IT, ES, HU) involving 45 HR professionals in a blended learning programme to test the new HR Profile.
  • A validated HR+ Profile, registered in the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna regions, Spain, and recognised within Hungarian professional frameworks.
  • Three national events (IT, ES, HU) and a Brussels-based multiplier event, convening over 125 stakeholders to foster EU-wide dialogue on inclusive workplace practices.

The HR+ project leverages a European approach to achieve impact beyond the scope of a single country:

  • Transnational Profile Development – By using comparative research, HR+ creates a profile adaptable to various European contexts, meeting the requirements of each partner’s industrial landscape while maintaining transferability through adaptation guidelines.
  • Enhanced Mobility and Skill Exchange – Through international collaboration, training providers gain valuable insights and best practices from successful regional approaches to current workforce challenges.
  • Increased Appeal of Training Institutions – Institutions across partner countries can enhance and align their training offers with EU standards, addressing the demands of HR and KI companies.
  • Comprehensive Transnational Network – Supported by multi-stakeholder networks (including EVTA and Erasmus+ partners), HR+ provides broad coverage and impactful outreach across Europe.

HR+ represents a progressive approach to HR management that supports both social innovation and organisational resilience across Europe.
